Boston public safety workers honored
BOSTON, Mass. -- Public employees charged with keeping Boston residents and visitors safe and sound had their day in the sun Thursday.
Mayor Menino, Police Commissioner Ed Davis, and other officials were on hand at a ceremony to honor public safety officials at the Ironworkers Union Hall.
Employees who were recognized were presented with a Commissioners Commendation for their efforts.
