NH police checking for impaired holiday drivers
BEDFORD, N.H. -- Police are out in force this holiday weekend in New Hampshire, focusing on impaired and aggressive drivers.
State troopers, Bedford officers state liquor enforcement officers ran a sobriety checkpoint late Friday and early Saturday on Route 3 in Bedford, stopping 151 drivers.
Three were arrested on drunken driving charges. Two others got traffic tickets. Three minors were charged with alcohol possession and three other people were charged with drug possession.
