Elderly driver also caused fatal crash in 1992
STOUGHTON, Mass. -- The elderly driver that killed a four-year-old girl in Stoughton on June 13 was also behind the wheel in 1992 when her husband died in a car crash.
88-year-old Ilse Horn fell asleep at the wheel in 1992, police reports show, in a wreck that killed her husband.
Four-year-old Diya Patel was hit and killed by a car driven by Horn on June 13.
The accident has renewed calls by state lawmakers in Massachusetts to require testing for elderly drivers.
