Boston Herald issues apology for Jackson death headline
BOSTON -- The Boston Herald issued an apology for its controversial headline surrounding the death of Michael Jackson.
The cover read "Fade to Black-o" with a picture of Michael Jackson smiling.
The headline did not sit well with fans.
The paper issued a statement Friday afternoon. It read, "The herald meant no disrespect and we sincerely apologize to those who were offended by today's headline about Michael Jackson's death."
