MBTA installs tracking devices on all buses

The MBTA said that they have installed a new technology to track their entire bus fleet.
"What this is all about is using technology that is available today, to help our customers today," said State Transportation Secretary James Aloisi.
All 1,040 MBTA buses are now equipped with GPS.
"We now can track each and every bus, on each and every roadway, on each and every route," said MBTA General Manager Dan Grabauskas.
Dispatchers have the ability to track every bus on real time and officials hope that it will translate into better service.
The project cost $18.9 million.
