Turkeys cause trouble in Rockport

ROCKPORT, Mass. -- Turkeys are causing trouble in a local town.
Residents have complained their neighborhood is overrun with wild turkeys and the mailman in one section of town is having a hard time delivering mail.
"You can have up to 11 or 12 of them, and they're fierce," said Nat Johnson, a Rockland resident.
The mailman was recently attacked by the turkeys.
He has even gone so far as to hide his truck and change his route, but the turkeys continue to track him down.
The Post Office has decided to suspend some deliveries to that area for the safety of the mailman.
Environmental police officers in Rockport have used methods to frighten but not injure the birds. To prevent further disturbances, they have urged residents not to feed these birds.
