'Days of Our Lives' star to sing national anthem at Fenway
BOSTON -- Leaving behind the daytime drama, cast members of NBC’s "Days of Our Lives" were at Fenway Park Friday.
Nadia Bjorlin, known as the cunning Chloe Lane on the series, is set to sing the National Anthem to open Friday’s Red Sox/Yankees game.
“I've actually never sung the national anthem at anything, so, this is a really big deal, and it's an amazing venue for it to be my first time,” Bjorlin said.
Co-stars Shawn Christian and Eric Martsolf, also known as Dr. Daniel Jonas and Brady Black, were on hand for the rehearsal.
Bjorlin, who was born in Newport, RI, spent the afternoon showing her cast mates some of her favorite city spots before the big gig.
“Newbury Street was pretty cool. I remember there was a lot of good shopping and restaurants. That's sort of right up my alley,” Bjorlin said.
On Saturday, the three stars along with two other “Days of Our Lives” actors will be in Wakefield to sign autographs in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
