OK ladies, are you having trouble finding love? One local guy says it's easy if you just think like a man. 7's Sorboni Banerjee takes a look at what promises to be a very simple how-to book to fix-up your love life.

The Mission: Finding Mister Right

Our leader: A Tewksbury native and former model who says he's laid it all out for ladies in a book he calls "The Manual."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"I wrote 'the manual' because I have been giving relationship advice to women informally over 20 years."

But will the manual make a difference? 7 asked two single ladies to give it a try.

The first woman is Jocelyn Mcphee.

Jocelyn Mcphee
"Hi Steve?"

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"No, publisher's clearing house! How are you?"

Jocelyn Mcphee
"Good, how are you? Nice to meet you nice to meet you."

And Sarah Waskiewicz.

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Open up Sarah."

Sarah Waskiewicz
"Hi Steve"

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Good to see you, how are you?

Steve's strategy is simple:

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"You wrap your mind around why men think. You don't have to agree with it, you don't have to act like a guy, but understand it."

Step One: Double Duty

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Double duty means you have to leave the house, you have to run a day to day chore, if you will, why not just throw on something that looks half decent instead of being a schlump. Go out there looking a little provocative."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"How about if I told you every time you leave this house, you can meet a guy? Every time, no matter where you're going."

Jocelyn Mcphee
"That doesn't happen."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"That doesn't happen until now, but that's going to change."

Step Two: Sex Sells

Steve Santagati, Dating Expert, Author 'The Manual'
"You have to dress a certain way, because there are certain things that men will notice. And that doesn't mean that you have to be cheap."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"This outfit doesn't do anything for you."

Jocelyn Mcphee
"OK."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"We can't see your figure; you have a really cute figure. It's like little house on the prairie goes Boston or something."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Put something sexy, cute, but easy. Not like you're trying too hard."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Come on out!"

Jocelyn Mcphee
"This is what I wear when I want attention."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Ahhh now that's smart. That's perfect."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"You know Sarah, you've got the hair. You've got that nice, clean, Wellesley/conservative look down. Now we're gonna make it a little naughty so these guys pay attention."

Sarah Waskiewicz
"Ok that sounds good to me."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Alright, so why don't you go change but keep the skirt on, I think the skirt works."

Sarah Waskiewicz
"Is this shirt better?"

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Yea, now you know what he wants."

Step Three: Now Jocelyn and Sarah need to get to the guys

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"You wonder why we are at Lowes. We go to hardware stores that's where the guys are."

Step Four: Strike up a Conversation

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"You don't want to go up and say 'hi my name is Jocelyn.'"

Jocelyn Mcphee (taking to a man)
"Hi my name is Jocelyn."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"No! I told you not to do that."

Jocelyn Mcphee
"What was I suppose to day? Nice box?"

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"You want to start a conversation."

Sarah Waskiewicz (talking to a man)
"I'm trying to find a bike lock; do you know what's the best? Should I use a combination lock or a key lock?"

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"That was perfect! He didn't bite you. Guys want to help, we like that thing."

Jocelyn Mcphee
"Is this the best type of cocking they have in the store the GE?"

Man
"Yes, I think so."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"Great job!"

So, is it mission accomplished for the manual?

Jocelyn Mcphee
"Honestly, Every time now that I'm in a public setting, it will be in the back of my mind that i can do this, and I can play with it and have fun with it if I want to."

Sarah Waskiewicz
"I would definitely use his advice. Um, it's definitely a more aggressive approach and I definitely think it works. It gives you the power, you know, you have the power to go up to guys who you want to talk to."

Steve Santagati, dating expert and author of 'The Manual'
"If you connect, you're gonna meet guys, you're gonna meet great guys. It's not that difficult." The Manual: A True Bad Boy Explains How Men Think, Date, and Mate--and What Women Can Do to Come Out on Top

One last message from the manual: make the extra effort with confidence.

Steve says that if you really want to meet a man, think of it as a career. Put in the work and you're love life will soar.
