Benjarvus Green-Ellis is new to the Patriots, but he's making his mark!
The 5'11'' running back loves New England, but misses the South.
He says, "I'm from New Orleans, and I miss the food, and I miss having my family around. When I go back home, I have to have my grandma's sweet potato pie."
Up here, Benjarvus does the cooking for himself.
Kirsten Watson asks, "Alright, Benjarvus, you have to tell me about your name."
He explains, "The Benjarvus part my mother came up with. Her name was green, and the Ellis is my dad's last name."
His name also gets him mixed up with his teammate, Benjamin Watson.
Benjarvus says, "Me and Benjamin have the same name. If someone calls us, they call me Benny and call him Ben. If someone is getting hollered at, it's his fault not mine!"
Kirsten Watson asks, "The women of New England want to know, do you have a girlfriend?"
"No, I'm single", he says.
That's good to know!
